This place was like a hidden gem in the middle of Santa Barbara. The room was clean and spacious. Check-in was very quick and easy. The location was a block from cottage hospital which was very convenient. I would stay here again.

Staff didn’t tell us about restaurant being closed and didn’t know where we could go for food. The room was 81 degrees when we went to bed and finally cooled off by morning in spite of us turning it on at 5:00pm. We didn’t avail ourselves of the jacuzzi or pool, but it looked nice. The landscaping was also nice.

I stay here whenever I come to Santa Barbara. It feels safe and is pretty. The Live Oak Cafe on site is convenient and serves simple, delicious meals. What I like more than anything else is how friendly and helpful the hotel staff are. As a single traveler, the hotel feels welcoming and secure because of the staff. I also love to walk in the neighborhood, often to a nearby park.

Beautiful property overall with the greenery, clean decor, quiet residential neighborhood within 7 minutes from the main vibe of State St etc..Wifi did not work when trying to access Netflex -but we weren’t there to watch tv. Front desk via text offered to send maintenance though we declined. Air conditioning was a bit loud but we were cooled just fine. On the last night, we were offered late check out of 11:30 which we accepted. Overall great experience. Great stay!
