The Saturday market was WORTH IT!
I stayed in San Remo to make a day trip to Giardino Hanbury outside of Ventimiglia. It is a beautiful garden, few visitors, so tranquil with stunning views of the Ligurian Sea. Spent the rest of the day exploring Ventimiglia.
Fantastic weather and temperature. The Saturday market is an interesting place to visit/shop. Many great restaurants. We enjoyed the casino very much.
Sanremo is a must see and great place to visit if you're going to be in this area, although the casino scene is not what we came here for. There are so many other things to do, so I would recommend to avoid the casino and explore the area.
Nice town, but the trafic is very congested
Easy!
