A five minute drive from cedar point. With a nice pool/ hot tub setup very accommodating staff with a lobby and breakfast you can’t complain about. Wonderful spot will definitely be bringing the lady and I back before the summer ends

The staff was excellent! Check in was smooth and fast. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes from Cedar Point. The pool and hot tub look clean, we did not get a chance to use them. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom vanity was new and modern.

Rooms were clean with plenty of towels. Soaps and shampoos were pump style attached to the wall which is desireable. Pool and hot tub were clean. Breakfast was ok, pancake machine, some breads, basic pastries, a small fridge with hard boiled eggs and yogurt, coffee and juice machines.

My recent stay at the South Shore Inn in Sandusky, OH was excellent from start to finish. The room was spotless, with the cleanest bedsheets I’ve ever seen and wonderfully cold AC that made it easy to relax after a long day. Mornings started with a great breakfast that was fresh and satisfying. Throughout the stay, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Sadly the hot tub was not up and running just yet, I saw they were doing some maint. in the pool area so everything will be in tip top shape for this year!

Pros: beds were queen size, mattress was firm but not uncomfortable. Pillows were fluffy and there were plenty of them. The room was clean. Refrigerator and microwave functioning. Room was a good size. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was good and there was a good amount of choices for the average human. Coffee was tasty. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. Surprised to see slides in the pool, we didn't get to use but looked cool. Location is fantastic to Cedar Point, just 4 minutes down the road. Hotel is also close to stores and restaurants. Cons: Breakfast did not have diabetic friendly options, mostly carbs and sugars. Only one ice machine on the lower level on one side of the complex. Overall: a fantastic option for those traveling to Cedar Point or their sports complex for the price. Will stay here again.

Staff was friendly and the morning breakfast was good but shower head was nearly half a foot short than me (5'11), shower shelves not level as my shampoo bottle fell off onto my foot 4 times, the drink machines only accepted cash and 1 dollar bills with at least 1 not even working at all. But the tipping point was the fact that I noticed that after getting out of the shower and walking around in my room barefoot, the bottom of my feet started turning black from how dirty the carpet was.
