This hotel is a perfect little haven right in the centre of Sancerre. The welcome was so warm from Stephanie and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. The room was spacious and we loved the little roof terrace. We'll definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and the staff was very responsive and truly cared about doing their best for us to enjoy the stay. We stayed in the top bedroom which was very lovely - we recommend you try it if available. Great breakfast and also the lunch sandwiches were fantastic. We will be back.

Amazing Suite in Sancerre

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. We stayed in Suite Le Ceramique which is furnished and decorated to a very high standard with great style and attention to detail which echos throughout, from the quality of the furniture and linen, to all the accessories from shower products, music speaker, coffee to wineglasses. The bed was super comfortable and the en-suite, which is cleverly located behind the bed, is very spacious and is complete with free standing bath, huge double shower and a double sink unit. We had a breakfast basket every morning which is lovingly prepared with fresh bread and pastries, jam and home made honey, fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Again the attention that is paid to the presentation is outstanding. The suites sit above the owners snack bar, which although we didn’t eat in is exquisitely decorated and always smelt amazing! The location is central in Sancerre and there are restaurants, shops and wine tasting opportunities right on the door step. The suite was presented and cleaned to a very high standard and we would definitely return and recommend to others.

Alors c'est vrai, la chambre était magnifique, correspondant à "une certaine idée du luxe" vantée par la documentation d'accueil des propriétaires. Par contre, je diverge largement sur cette conception du luxe quand : - d'une journée sur l'autre le lit n'est pas fait ; - le café mis "gracieusement" à disposition n'est pas renouvelé (alors qu'une seule dose a été utilisée) : normal, la chambre n'a pas été faite ; - Je signale au matin de ma première nuit que l'abbatant des toilettes est dysfonctionnel et que rien n'est fait ; - les peignoirs sur les photos sont absents, alors que la douche donne sur une fenêtre aux rideaux non opaques avec un vis-à-vis direct de l'autre côté de la rue !!! - le détecteur de monoxyde de carbone est absent du plafond (seul le support est encore présent). Beaucoup de divergences, donc, qui gâchent une expérience hôtelière qui aurait pu être magnifique, dommage. Stéphane
