Room was a good size for three of us. Updated and well maintained. The views were very good with the ocean across the street. Walking distance to several restaurants was ideal. The pool and hot tub were closed and we were very disappointed in that. The breakfast picnic basket was a cute concept and the brekkie ordered was good.

I had never been to Cambria before. This place was so cute and very close to the Hearst Castle which we visited. Additionally, the walk along the ocean was so nice, great path and great scenery. I would stay again. My parents loved it also.

Great stay! I love this place - charming, clean, quaint, and across the street from the beach. The small fridge in the room was great for small snacks, and parking is easy. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low this visit, but that's the first I noticed it. The fire pits in the evening are lovely as well.

Unfortunate that the pool and hot tub were not functioning. Coffee options were too limited in bedroom and lobby (only availableafter 8 a.m.) . Breakfast options (which we had to order and pay extra for) were not really satisfactory. The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Back patio needs a little more privacy from parking lot and 2nd story rooms adjacent.

Breakfast is NOT included if you book externally. Pool was closed, didn't know that until arrival. Purchased breakfast for $10, burrito was massive, well worth it. Not much dining within walking distance, but tradeoff is very quiet part of town! Beach and boardwalk right across the street.

The location is fantastic, and I appreciated the electric chargers. I love the glass enclosed sofas with firepits in front of our room. Things that could be improved: It would be nice to have coffee before 8:00 am. It would have been nice to know that the pool and spa were closed, as we might have chosen a different property. This is apparently a temporary issue though. We also were charged twice for breakfast, but only received it once, and were told we would receive a new bill by the end of day, but it never appeared. All in all, a very nice, but not perfect, stay.

Cute breakfast basket delivered in the morning. Enjoyed the view of cows on the hillside behind the property (across the highway). Moonstone Beach was glorious - steps away across the street. Such a sweet place for a relaxing get away.

No operating hot tub as advertised - super rude staff and a property that was across the highway from the beach - not “on the beach” as advertised. After checking out at 9:00am we asked to use the bathroom and the office staff said it was only for guests - and I said we are guests and they said - not as of 10 minutes ago when you checked out. What the heck?!?
