The room was clean, the bed comfortable and having a fridge was handy. It was nice grabbing a coffee and snack in the lobby and chatting with the lovely Katrina (I think her hame was) working there. I also liked all the outdoor furniture so I could enjoy a meal and visit with my family.

We had a suite due to sleeping differences so really enjoyed the space along with two balconies facing dense woods! Very peaceful place, a little bit old school but in a great way and you will love your stay! Evening fire pit is nice! I’d call it a little bit vintage California Motor Lodge style, but you’ll find it’s all updated, nicely decorated with coastal art, well maintained and clean as a whistle!

At arrival Justice at front desk was very welcoming and accommodating, The property is clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean with all amenity in place, well stocked and in working order. Plenty of parking with stalls wide enough to accommodate my pickup. We will definitely be back.

Such a gem! My family and I really loved the Bluebird. The location is perfect! The rooms are clean and nice. The staff was friendly and kind, We absolutely loved the outdoor areas of the motel. Our room had a sliding glass door to a small private patio with 2 nice chairs and a table that looked out into the woodsy area behind the motel. There was even a small trail that lead to a larger outdoor area. Everything about this adorable and well maintained motel was great! We would definitely love to stay again sometime!

The best hotel we stayed in on a two week long trip through California. This is a family owned place and it shows. Everyone was thoughtful and attentive. Not just responsive to their guests but accomodating and friendly. Housekeeping was awesome. The grounds are beautiful. They have lovely winding pathways through the gardens to the creek and a fabulous outdoor fireplace for schmoozing at night. Front desk very information. Blue Bird is a little isolated retreat right in the middle of town and next easily accessible to major restaurants and bars yet if you want some alone time you can take a bottle of wine out to the creek or the fire and just chill. We won't stay anywhere else in Cambria

We stayed in a suite for 4 days. It was lovely but it did not have shutters on the port window in front so we were a bit exposed in the living room area. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We will definitely go back next time we're in Cambria.

Terrific little stopping place, rooms are small and clean, good WiFi, minimal television, good beds and shower. Excellent house key service, rooms cleaned daily and towels were replenished. Stayed here on a few separate occasions and will probably return. If you’re needing a good night’s sleep with few amenities, this might the place for you.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. It was very nice. The room was very clean and bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, body wash that they provide were good quality. The only thing about this place, if you stay on the first floor, you could hear people above you walking around. It was very quiet at night. It only had a heater but NO AC. Thankfully weather was on the cooler side. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. We requested for our room to be cleaned (forgot to put the sign up)when we came back late and front desk immediately called and in less than 5 mins, housekeeping came. Love this place, very cozy.

We really enjoyed our well-appointed 1-bedroom suite. The Bluebird Inn is a very tranquil hotel & well located right in town. We had a bit of a snafu at check-in & were not able to get into our room until 5:20pm, even tho 4pm is their posted check-in time. We had arrived at 2:30pm, just in case the room was ready early. We were understanding about our room not being ready at that time, but the staff didn't seem very concerned that our room wasn't ready at 4pm. Once we got in our room, all was well; the front desk even brought us a few treats (waters & Kind bars) to make up for the delay. We will definitely stay at the Bluebird Inn again, but won't expect an early check-in.
