Public areas had a nice castle look. Our room had a lovey view. Breakfast was good, especially sitting in the courtyard. The hotel location is great for exploring the historic town and walls. Hotel parking was tight, but much better than dragging cases up the hill from the public parking (which was very full). I had an issue with my car, which involved calling a mechanic (who spoke no english). The reception staff were very helpful communicating with him for me.

Experience of staying in a parador is a privilege. Breakfast selection was excellent and staff were really helpful. Room was spacious with an amazing view. Location in the heart of the medieval quarter was memorable.

The best ever!

This has now gone down on our favorite vacation ever!! The castle itself is amazing. We stayed 10 days and would have stayed more but they had no rooms. We were on the sixth floor ( only two rooms there) and had a two balcony’s. You can spend days just in the walled old town but we were actually just across the street from the River. Walked every place. If you have a chance…book it!!

The castle itself is lovely, but the rooms are very dated. My bed was pretty hard, even for someone like me that likes a firm mattress. The AC worked great, and the shower was very good. No bidet. Rooms are small, which is to be expected. The service was hit and miss. People are not warm, mostly courteous enough. For the cost, I expected more. Overall, would not stay again.
