My 7 y/o son and I recently stayed at " The Reef" Hotel for 10 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool and view were really fun and amazing. The hotel was very family friendly, the food and service were really great. I would recommend staying there.

The breakfast bread is so small that about a 1/4 of it was provided before. The canopy for the shade is so old that it is coming apart, and it makes it seem like a lock of maintenance. My room did not have much furniture, no chairs, no table for guests to visit, and sit down unless it was in the bed. No small refrigerator to keep drinks cool. I got a few bugs, like crickets, cockroaches, and one crab. When the rain came, water came under the door, creating a safety issue. All staff are very friendly, and they have 5 stars. Is the question. Would I stay there again? 80% yes. But I hope the owner may make some changes, at least provide a small fridge, 98% of the hotels have one. Maybe not normal in El Salvador, but maybe we can start here to make it normal.The tourists want that comfort, like we are home away from home. Thanks!

A wondefrul ocean front property. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Beatiful ocean view at reasonable price locayed a short walk from El Tunco. I love that is is not trying to be overly modern and fancy and feels like real surf stay.

Great view, great service, balcony room a must. One thing : The road getting into the property is rough. Uber was not happy getting into it. Oh, and please add mimosas on the menu( nice to have in the mornings) We would defenitely recommend and would go back! Viva El salvador! Safety is on point!

The Hotel is small, but pretty tidy. The room size was a bit smaller than expected. But the hotel is nice. The staff is really nice and helpful. I liked the pool and they have a nice food menu. The Bar staff was excellent and they make good drinks. Prices are also affordable. The breakfast was good and they have good fokd choices. I would definitely stay there again.
