I was welcomed with the friendliest front desk, both ladies I encountered were so sweet and welcoming. I was able to book last minute pick up from airport, which I appreciated. The pool was a nice focal point of the hotel. The room was much better than expected, it has a fridge which I was excited for. Overall great place and would book again!

This was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room itself was not terrible in layout, but it seemed like it had not been occupied or cleaned in years. Dust covered the furniture and surfaces, and the bedding and towels were stained and in desperate need of replacement. To make matters worse, no regular cleaning services were offered during my stay. I arrived on a Sunday night to loud music that played until 1 a.m., only to be awakened the next morning by construction noise starting around 8 a.m. Loud sawing, hammering, and general chaos continued nonstop until 5 p.m. every single day. It quickly became clear that the hotel is undergoing major renovations, making it feel like I was staying on a construction site. The worst part of my stay, however, was the dirty water. For the entire week, the water from both the tap and the toilet was yellow and smelled awful. I ended up showering and brushing my teeth elsewhere and used the hotel only for sleeping. Perhaps most disappointing of all, none of these issues were communicated by the front desk. The staff seemed oblivious or indifferent to the fact that guests were being subjected to construction noise, poor hygiene, and contaminated water. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel until all renovations are complete and the basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and honesty are restored.

I had a wonderful stay at Tropical Palace. It was easy to find and near plenty of restaurants and stores. I felt safe when walking and the staff was nice and helpful. Food and drinks were really good. Bed was comfortable and showers were spacious.

the room was clean and good, and AC worked, so primary goal achieved. Based on the expedia listing, I had thought the pool, dining area, and poolside bar would be operating. The building outside of the individual rooms seemed pretty rundown. I would not recommend had I been traveling with my family, but was a perfect place to sleep comfortably between scuba dives

Liked how clean it was. Staff were helpful in trying to resolve an issue with the in room safe. Tile (?) flooring was very clean but sooooo loud when people were in the balls and going up and down the stairs. Decent affordable hotel with basic amenities.

Had a great stay. My suite was clean, a/c worked and fridge was needed. Staff was kind and helpful, got towels as needed. Location was great as I could simply walk either direction down the beach for a morning run. Restaurants near by were good and I was happy to watch NFL games. The pool was at my door and was quiet, which was great for relaxing with a book. Mosquitoes are deadly however, so pack bug spray!

We were able to check in earlier than the normal time which was a plus. The price was amazing as well. The only downside a whole lot of mosquitoes. Walk with all your mosquito gear. We had a great time. Also they dont have ice and didnt have cups to provide when i asked.

Amazing pool and staff!!!

Had a great stay here! Rooms were cozy but could hear neighbors who were a bit noisy. Pool was AMAZING! Staff was friendly, helpful, and nice to chat with. They have great rates on Golf Carts you can easily rent there too.

They provided pick up and drop off to go ferry. The property was nice and the staff was friendly. My room had a cute balcony with a view of the pool. Restaurant at the hotel was pretty good enjoyed last of the lobster season and had a great snapper meal too. The hotel bar didn’t stock tequila unfortunately but everything else was great

I will never stay here again

The property wasn't clean, internet, TV, and AC all not working properly. The toilet take a longer time to refill after one flush. The toilet was not working properly, the room was not clean and no fresh towels or bed sheets provided. Extremely poor service. I will never stay there again. Look nice outside but the service is very bad.

The woman at the front desk was nice. But she tried to put us in a mold infested room!! The smell was horrible. My husband found mold on the walls behind the dresser and took pics, as soon as we first stepped inside the room. He went to discuss the issue and ask for a different room, and they actually had the audacity to ask my husband to show them pictures of it... like really, as if they didnt know about the condition of that room. It just sad that thry are willing to put people in danger/unhealty conditions for profit.. disgustingly sad. They had enough decency to put us in a different room though. Be careful!!!

Property from the outside very nice. Conceige is a sweet heart. Upon walking towards the room, which was on the first floor. There is weird smell ever time you walk into the facility. That same smell is in room also. We had spray Lysol to a least kill the smell. The bathroom was a big issue there was no ventilation. Everytime a shower was taken the moisture stayed in the room. The floor was wet and slippery at times, even in the bedroom part of the room. The moisture was so bad that it even penetrated through our clothing in the room that was in the suitcase because we left them open. The water from the shower you weren't able to change the pressure,so the pressure was strong. The towel rack pulled off a couple of times while I was trying to exit the shower. The people that work was nice. The restaurant food was good. All in all the facility was good. The ventilation was non-existence. Maybe they should have mesh at the windows for the mosquitoes. So, when other guests stay there they can open up the windows to get some ventilation in the room, and not letting so much mosquitoes.
