We had an amazing time! staff was great. hotel was clean. Be sure to bring bug spray. mosquitos are terrible around the resort due to the swamps. if you dont have bug spray, the hotel has. beach club was great. golf cart to get around the resort/island is a must. will definitely be coming back

The hotel amenities were excellent, and the food and overall service were truly outstanding — especially the fresh seafood. The hostess, Kimberly, was kind, attentive, and always went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Thank you, Kimberly! That level of hospitality is what makes a resort stay memorable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning, lighting, and bedding. Nice hotel but definitely can be better for the money its worth. There’s a lot of construction going on. The rooms weren’t clean to its best ability. Hair was in the showers. Dust on the night stands, fridge etc. Soaps in shower were rusty only side with the shower head. The room was beyond hot, ac was not good. Mosquitoes in the room EVERYDAY. pool was VERY small. Pool club food was decent. Staff were VERY nice & helpful.

Mahogany Bay was a nice resort. The room was clean, loved the lanai as extra space. Loved the private island. The cabanas were great and the serenity it offers was unmatched. The staff was nice enough. Whenever approached or needed they were cordial. Gilmer the bartender was the absolute best. Always smiling and took care of us when we ordered drinks and food for the pool. We did not have hot water to shower and the cable was out in the property for a few days during our stay. We also ordered drinks and asked for a menu one day at the pool. The young man never came back. Rare occasion because every other time we asked for service it was provided. It was a good property to stay when visiting Belize.
