Vacations Close To San Mateo County Event Center

Hotel is very basic. Rooms are small, but thats old San Francisco for you. If you are use to something super classy, you are going to be disappointed. Our room was fine, our bedding had some stains and the bathroom linens were very poor quality, but it did the job. We spent very little time in the room. The location is great. This is literally on the corner of the Dragon Gate. Walking distance to virtually everything. If you plan on doing bus tours, you are right by Union Square where they start/stop. Lots of shopping and dining options around the hotel. Pier 39 and Oracle Park are a 35 min walk from the hotel through beautiful areas and points of interest.

Hotel was great and was right on the boardwalk. Enjoyed the breakfast and there were local restaurants at other hotels not too far away. The free shuttle was very inconsistent when I was there and is the only bad thing I have to say. Had to stand for well over an hour at the pickup spot at the airport

Was nervous about my trip to San Francisco and wanted a good place to stay that was close to everything I wanted to see. Pickwick’s location was ideal for my trip, the room was small but had everything we needed (minus a microwave and fan). The staff was always helpful and helped ale our stay comfortable. Room was tidy and had everything we needed for the stay. Only thing I didn’t like was the old building smell.
