A really lovely Corsican hotel on the hillside above Bastia. We were only passing through for the ferry transfer to Livorno, but this hotel deserved a longer stay. Nice views, excellent service throughout, and first rate facilities.

A little oasis

We sat by the pool most of the day with staff so wonderfully attentive the place is an oasis.the hotel has a 5 star attitude and we knew we have picked just the right place to spend a few days to unwind. The food is exceptional

The room and hotel are beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic. Unfortunately the after hours door code is not digital and we only took our room key. After dinner we could not get back in the building because we forgot the piece of paper that had door code written down. We had to WhatsApp call an after hours number and the owner came and let us in. He was not too happy about that but I would say sync up your door keys and door codes.

Excellent hotel experience

The six day stay was really a fantastic experience. A relatively small hotel with a wonderful atmosphere and service. Very good high quality breakfast buffet. The outdoor poolside restaurant had an excellent setting under the pruned olive trees with superbly performing waiters. The meals were swiftly prepared on the grill by the chef. We highly recommend this hotel and would choose this again when in Bastia.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pietracap. The breakfast had a good range of options and the dinners were delicious. The hotel was in an easy location for a quick drive into Bastia. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ocean view from the room was stunning. We also loved the water fountain in the lobby for our water bottles. It was so convenient. The only things we didn't enjoy were the overly firm mattress and STRONG room perfume.

Dagegen ist die Gartenanlage und Pool sehr schön. Das Morgenbuffet ist sehr sehr gut. Mangelhaft sind nach unserem Geschmack aber die KREA-Kaffeemaschinen mit KaffeequalitĂ€t so so la la und mit Milch(pulver) zu Latte Macchiato, Cappucciono etc. FĂŒr ein 4-Sternehotel wĂ€ren hier z.B. LavazzagerĂ€te angebracht; den hervorragenden Lavazzokaffee gibt es zumindest in den Zimmern.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön am Berg in einem ruhigen Viertel nördlich der Innenstadt von Bastia. Bis zur Place Saint Nicolas ist es zu Fuß eine gute halbe Stunde, zum alten Hafen noch etwas weiter. Die Strecke ist gut zu gehen und fĂŒhrt zum Teil oberhalb am Meer entlang. Ansonsten ist hier ein Auto nötig. Einen ausreichend großen Parkplatz hat das Hotel. Der Pool ist sehr schön und von vielen BĂ€ume umgeben. Den Rest des Gartens fanden wir etwas dunkel. Leider roch unser Zimmer muffig und um den Austritt der Klimaanlage waren dunkle Flecken. Wir baten um ein neues Zimmer und konnten am nĂ€chsten Tag wechseln. Zudem sahen wir, dass die Flecken an der Klimaanlage im alten Zimmer gereinigt waren. Darum ein Lob an die Rezeption fĂŒr deren schnellen Service. Wir frĂŒhstĂŒckten einmal im Hotel. Es gab ein ausreichendes Angebot, jedoch fanden wir die Speisen fĂŒr 20 € zu teuer.

L’hĂŽtel est bien positionnĂ© par rapport au centre ville. PossibilitĂ© de garer sa voiture en extĂ©rieure. La chambre est grande. Vue sur le jardin. Climatisation la bienvenue en pĂ©riode de forte chaleur. Personnel trĂšs sympa. En revanche chambre mal insonorisĂ©e et petit dĂ©jeuner pas terrible pour un 4 Ă©toiles.
