Dramatic location

Perched at the summit of a mountain in the historical center of the Republic of San Marino this hotel is excellent, they parked my car, fast, check-in, elegant marble lobby, and nice room.

Great place. Easy parking

Grand Hotel San Marino is just outside the main wall of the city what make is possible to be able to park but you are still a few steps from the main entrance. Beautiful view from the room and restaurant associated with the hotel is one of the best ones in town.

Amazing San Marino

Hotel was beautiful. It was clean and safe. Only two things I would note that was both minor was 1) The shower head had a lot of limescale in it, I had to break it up to get the shower to flow evenly 2) I felt that the gentleman that ran the restaurant was standoffish The reception team and housekeeping team were extremely welcoming and engaging and San Marino is an absolute beautiful place. Favourite place on my trip of 7 countries

Top location with great view

Great location within easy walking distance of the Towers. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice rooms with great view from the balcony. We parked on the street in front of the hotel, easy and convenient.

The dinner restaurant on premises was economically priced for the area and our meal was excellent. The breakfast buffet was expansive. We enjoyed our balcony. Street parking was easy in front of the hotel in November and validated by the hotel for 4 Euros. The many electrical switches and panels were very confusing and yet there weren't enough electrical outlets to easily charge two iPhones.

This property is in an absolutely amazing location in San Marino. We loved everything about our stay with the exception that our room which was to be available at the check-in time of 2:00 pm was not available until 3:30. The hotel staff gave us complimentary wine and chips while we waited and extended our check out time by an hour (which was great!), but that we had limited time on our schedule in San Marino we were disappointed not to be able to check in on time. That said, don’t let our experience discourage you as this is an amazing property!

Das Hotelzimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, besonders die Dusche war nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß und funktionierte nicht richtig. Trotzdem war alles sauber und ordentlich. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Hundefreundlichkeit – unser Vierbeiner war überall willkommen. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit kleineren Abstrichen beim Komfort.

Die Lage ist einmalig, man kann San Marino Città perfekt zu Fuß erkunden - allerdings ist der "Blick auf die Berge" vom Balkon zumindest in den Etagen 1 und 2 durch Bäume verdeckt und somit nicht vorhanden. Das Mobilar in meinem Zimmer war teils schon stark abgenutzt (Stühle) - aber sonst ist das Hotel wirklich in Ordnung. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant im Hotel und das Personal ist wirklich äußerst freundlich!

San Marino great stay

We only stayed one night, but it was a good experience. Staff in reception was very friendly and gave us good suggestion on what to see and where to eat. The hotel feels like the 80-90's but clean and proper. Good space and good beds. Breakfast was good, with all you need. We choose to park in hotel garage (wallet)...since it was a lot of cars parked at the "normal price:. But that was good service. San Marino old town was great, but a lot of walking "uphill" all the time.
