Always on the hunt to find a reasonably priced place to stay near Cal Poly. Surprisingly clean for a hotel with the name University in it. Seems like privately owned, we told them we'd arrive by midnight and they asked if we could arrive before 10pm, guessing so they could sleep. Don't blame them quite frankly. We asked the owner if we could have an upstairs room. She was absolutely accommodating, remembered and honored our request upon arrival. Breakfast is minimal continental, bananas, microwaveable Jimmy Dean sausage croissants, pastries, and coffee. If you're on the go, their breakfast is arguably better than a sit-down buffet. Would 100% recommend and we'd stay again. It's about a 1 minute or so drive to the Cal Poly campus.

It’s an older facility and the exterior is in need of paint. Driveway is narrow and precarious as it is two way. Parking is tight and exiting the property can be precarious due to the proximity of a traffic light on the left and on coming traffic to your right coming off the freeway. Rooms have been updated. Had to hunt for the hair dryer which was in the chest of drawers along with an extra pillow. Bed is satisfactory but pillows are small and lumpy. For the price it’s satisfactory. Managers are very pleasant and helpful.

Came into the Inn and was not greeted. The receptionist asked for my name then my credit card and gave me a machine to sign. No pleasantries at all. Went to our room that was stuffie and very hot. If you’re trying to save on electricity, and I get that, check-in at 3, air conditioning unit should be on. The biggest disappointment was no coffee in the room. Sign in the foyer says continental breakfast 6:30 a.m., nothing opened until 7. Highly recommend coffee pots be in rooms. Fridge needs to be defrosted. I will give a 10 for cleanliness. Customer service 1

The staff was super friendly. The check-in and check-out process was easy. There were plenty of parking spots, and the room was clean. Continental breakfast was okay, but they charged for water and apple juice. We stayed only two nights, and the breakfast consisted of a Jimmie Dean breakfast sandwich, Danish, banana, and Kurig coffee both days the same. Overall, a good place to stay for the prices in the area. Close to a few food establishments that offered entertainment.
