My little family always comes here when were in the area, but usually just to dine. This was our first time staying and we were lucky enough to get the Safari Room. Why leave the Madonna Inn when you can do it all there. No, but really! It has everything!!!! The town of SLO is cute too, but wow this place really has it all! Stayed here just for the experience being a CA landmark. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet once kids next door stopped screaming. But bed had a heavy duvet with no other covering available. I find duvets are agony on my arthritic bones. Ate dinner and breakfast at cafe. EXCELLENT service and good food but pricey. Live nearby so need to return. Would recommend at least one visit for the experience.
