Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay.

Pros: 1. The staff was lovely and very helpful 2. Internet was pretty decent 3. Views from the hotel were magnificent Cons Take the ECO in the name very very seriously 1. There was no air conditioning 2. Had to carry my luggage through a dirt path and also a flight of stairs 3. The towel I was given has dirt stains on it but the staff changed it immediately 4. The provided breakfast wasn’t great If I knew better, I definitely won’t have picked this property; but all in all, I think everything wrong with it was tied it being ECO.

Very friendly and helpful staff in both the restaurant and housekeeping. A special thanks to Rosmir, Ana, Jackline, and Lucas, just to mention a few. The rooms are quite simple, but they offer good value for money. San Juan is a calm and relaxing area to stay in. Beautiful view over the lake. It’s great to have breakfast included, very convenient. Although it would be great to see a bit more variety, especially when it comes to the egg options.

Spacious, quiet room with a beautiful view. The hotel restaurant has one of the best settings in San Juan, and we really enjoyed the food. Service was very courteous. Convenient path to San Juan town, plus the hotel has its own pier for boat access. Free kayaks for guests were a great bonus.

Staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Only good thing was our room was clean and the location good. Breakfast was edible but even rating it good would be a giant stretch. No screens on our window which they said they would provide and never did. Lots of bugs. And then to top it off overcharged us on our rooms. There are other options I would choose next time.
