Friendly welcome on arrival (in the morning, due to travel plans). Rooms not available, but area provided for our bags and coffee made available. We explored town until the 4pm checkin. Room was clean, very spacious and offered all neccesary amenities (microwave, cooktop, plates etc) except in room coffee supplies. The gym is tight! Not sure I could be comfortable working out in there. Would recommend this hotel and would use again if we ever find ourselves back in SJ.

Great place to stay near Old San Juan if you also have a car. I was able to park the car out front and walk to Old San Juan in about 15 minutes. Plus the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Hector and Malanie were exceptional in ensuring we had an amazing stay. Their hospitality is top-notch and they always made sure my daughter and I were taken care of. They recommended wonderful dining experiences as well as activities for the two of us. The hotel is gorgeous. My daughter and I ended up in the penthouse suite which was divine, but every room looked amazing. I am on my way to the airport to return home but I already want to turn back to spend one more night at Hotel Puerto Valdes. Thank you Hector and Malanie (wishing you luck in school, you’re so close to graduating with a journalism degree) for being such amazing people. I will miss you both.
