We had a great stay at the Hyatt House. Everything was clean, modern, and wonderful: the lobby area, bar/restaurant, our room, and patio area, more specifically. Staff at check-in and breakfast were friendly and helpful. My husband liked the work out room. We appreciated and used the complimentary shuttle. Our large room with a kitchen, living area, and separate bedroom was beautiful and spotless. Lastly, the price was amazing. I highly recommend the Hyatt House.

Room 310 was nice but was moldy/mildew smelling. They did move us to a different room. It was smaller but i didn’t mind. Pool bathrooms and lobby bathrooms had no handsoap in womens. Staff were overall helpful. Bartender and omelet guy nice. Our front desk lady was nice. 2 house keeping women were rude. 1 told us room was mildewy. 1 snapped at me when i asked if could help with room issues.

Overall, a great stay. I initially expected worse due to not receiving the keys to the room until an hour after the check in time but I was billed during the check in. Also, I was billed $200 more than expected Expedia amount, which was not represented on the paper receipt nor the e-receipt (probably a scam from the check in staff). We had go down and request sink soap to wash our hands due to house keeping not doing the expected daily check in that was posted on Hyatt’s site. Other than that, the breakfast was great, room was clean, MOST staff had great customer service skills, and the bus to El Yungue picked us up right in front of the hotel.

The hotel was very close to the cruise port and to other attractions. It was also nice that the free hotel shuttle took us to old San Juan so it was like getting two vacations for the price of one. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable! Also- the free breakfast was not like a regular hotel free breakfast- it was actually delicious! Would definitely recommend a stay here - especially if cruising out of San Juan.
