Staying at Hotel El Convento was the best decision I made when deciding to stay in Old San Juan. The employees ensure you have the most pleasant experience and are very responsive. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and blends in with the Old San Juan aesthetic. It has a lot of fascinating history mixed in with the local art displayed throughout the hotel. I highly recommend this property. It's beauty and history are incredible. The hotel pays for a walking history tour of the hotel and old San Juan which was great. I enjoyed the complementary coffee in the morning and wine and cheese in the evening. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping.

This is the perfect place to stay in Old San Juan. It is in the middle of everything, and is beautiful and comfortable in every way. We especially loved having coffee each morning outside on the terrace over-looking the park.

Only here for one night. It was a lovely stay. Friendly staff, easy check in, room with comfortable bed, clean and included a bottle of wine. Lovely courtyard. Room was quiet and cool. Wine and cheese reception was a nice touch. While my husband was resting in the room I sat outside and read and drank wine-plenty of outdoor shaded seating.
