Ok, so the most important thing to me was PARKING. If you have rented a car, your best bet is parking at Estacionamiento Portuario and when you use the metropolis site to register your car, tap on the come and go and pay for multiple days in advance and it will be cheaper. Its only two blocks away. Other than that, the building was clean, walking distance from So much.

I never leave property reviews, but our stay at Casa of Essence was a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic -- old San Juan is right outside the door and there are beaches only a ten minute walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and overall I could not recommend this property enough. It made our trip to San Juan memorable, relaxing, and fun.

Beautiful property, full of charm and interesting antique finds! We stayed in the Crystal apartment, which was perfect for our family of 4 with two teens. Be aware that the street can get a bit noisy, but that’s true everywhere in Old San Juan. Our hosts were friendly and responsive, and the neighborhood is delightful. We’d definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was sufficiently stored. The room AC kept the room nice and cool and they had AC running when we arrived at mid nigh which was really appreciated. Location is excellent. The bed mattress could use a replacement to make the place perfect.

The location was perfect for getting around. Check in was easy and the building is secure with door codes. The elevator was a welcome sight when you have luggage. The building was adorable and well taken care of. Very clean. I can't imagine how much work it took to curate the decor. Would def stay again.

Very centric location. Property is very cutely decorated. AC worked good. Hostess very attentive. The only setback was the karaoke place across the street. We stayed in the Marilyn suite and could not sleep before 1 am Friday night because of all the noise.
