I loved staying at Canario. It is a lovely historic building, with lots of character, snuggled between more modern condos, and many restaraunts and boutique shops in the hip Condado neighborhood. The clean beach was just a block away and the water was great to swim in. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. The rooms weren't ideally furnished, and I was glad to have a room wit 2 full beds even though we were a couple traveling together, in order to give us some space to stretch out and put our belongings. I love supporting these kind of smaller hotels and encouraging others to stay here!

Great location! They offer bag storage, but it's in their lobby/waiting area. Thankfully, none of the items go missing. My room was nice, but I'm not sure if the sheets were changed, they had a strong BO smell. Also, my window didn't want to close but a staff member was happy to help me get it taken care of! Other than that I enjoyed my stay and the Location!
