The apartment was wonderful and the location was ideal for walking to nearby restaurants, shopping, and sites to visit. The only thing I would caution people who have difficulty climbing stairs - this might not be the best place for you - there are stairs to get to the apartment and another flight inside the apartment to get to the 2nd bedroom. We loved the space and the balcony overlooking the street - it is a very good place to stay in old San Juan

Beautiful property right at the edge of busy Old SJ. Close enough that everything was just a short walk, but a little further so you miss most of the street revelers at night. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean and relaxing. The owner was great with answering questions. There is a small 24h patking garage (la Cochera) on the next block. Stop and ask about a spot even if the sign says the garage is full (they found us a spot).

The stay was okay. The instructions to enter the property sent us to a part of the building that seemed to be under repair as their was no lights on that side. It was also the furthest entrance from or room. Which was strange because their was a door right at the bottom of our stairway to our room. Outside noises were a bit intrusive for early morning sleep. It was in a very convenient location though. A big plus!

The location Perfection, inside cleanliness Outstanding, Room upstairs amazing, but the room on the back do not get me wrong , Room is amazing also but when the night comes that’s what the magic of the room loose his lust. Lights thru the window from the business behind the property is Ridiculous, Music so Loud that I didn’t sleep for nothing and not only that this happen on the first night, to be exact Thursday 12/11/25. That’s why I left immediately the next day. I hope the the owner take action and make some changes or be more careful advertising it.

Overall would stay here again if it was more kept up with and fixed due to location of property and space. Pros- right across from mayors house so there was security across the street which was nice. Next to “Drunken cookies” which was great to get coffee and food and right next to a cafe. Walking distance to bars and places. Cons- the smell was terrible when you walked in, smells like mold The AC / wall unit leaked A TON! 3 full bath towels on the ground with constant leaking soaked all night There is an outdoor light that was motion detected and really high up that strobed all night if you moved from the upstairs bed. Regular light bulbs flickered in living room but too high to unscrew so kind of a nuisance Batteries dead in remote Honestly recommend them staying there for a night and sleeping there to see what needs to be done and fixed.

Being “perfectly located” in Old San Juan means you’re within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. We didn’t have to rent a car, even we had a early flight and was easy to get a uber at 4am. Beautiful colonial architecture. Spacious bedrooms & bathrooms. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms is a huge plus for comfort — more privacy, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends. Spaciousness allows more relaxing time in the apartment. Several listings confirm that bedrooms are roomy and bathrooms well-equipped. A balcony is a big win, especially in Old San Juan. Nice for morning coffee, evening breeze after a long day walking around. Modern amenities and confort. Air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchens, updated bathrooms. These are everything when you're balancing historic charm with want for convenience. This place delivers on this mix. We will stay again.

It’s a historical building therefore for it being so, it was kept up well, considering. There is a smell when you walk into the building almost like old mop water. The unit its self is lovely, very modern with a nice view and clean( we stayed on the third floor with a balcony, but don’t expect alot of action to see or an ocean view as there is a large building right in front) . If you’re looking for an authentic vibe, close to everything then this is it. I will say, security was not the best. There was a power outage during our stay which left the front door accessible for anyone to walk right into the building(which resulted in us checking out early and not staying the second night, in addition to not being able to shower or store our food). There’s no front desk so you have to call the booking person of the building in order to ask any questions. Again, we appreciated the authenticity of the experience but all of this is to say that it would have been a better experience without these minor inconveniences.

First time staying at deskless hotel-like accommodation. Virtual desk was responsive. Location was great - a few doors from the back of the cathedral This unit had lots of space. Clean, had enough natural light although it was It was an interior unit. Apt setup, two levels loft type - lower level, living, walk-in closet, big bathroom, kitchenette with small cooktop, upper - bedroom area (open). It had plenty of cooking/eating utensils. Of course, no food stuff, so you'll need oil, salt/pepper etc, if you intend to cook. The small dorm-size fridge was not a problem for me, but might be if are intending to do more cooking in the apt. Bed was comfy. There's stuff to watch on the TV (lower level). Only minus (2) - 1. leak stain in common area and from the ac unit 2. There was a smoked window (could not see through it) that allowed light from the other apt on that level, and they left their light on all night. Although I prefer the dark for sleeping, not a big deal for me, you may feel differently. It was good stay (September), good deal, loved the space for the money.

The room was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The views were amazing and in a safe area. While the check in was easy, my only criticism is the 3 flights of stairs was a bit much with 50 lb suitcases. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was as expected with respect to number of beds, bathrooms, accessories etc. Location, too was as expected and directions to get into property were clear and easy. The room (apartment #1), however, had a musty odor upon arrival and remained throughout the night we were there. The sign in the bathroom gave instructions to dispose of all soiled toilet paper into the garbage and to not flush it down the toilet due to plumbing. I travel quite a bit and never had that experience; it was not pleasant to say the least. The ceiling in the main room had plenty of water stains, some appeared to be black mold, although I cannot confirm that. The air conditioner split unit leaked while we were at dinner and we came back to water on the floor. We turned the a/c off and cleaned up the water. It was late when we got back to the apartment, but I contacted the owner via messenger, text, and by leaving a phone message. He said he would look into it when the apartment was available. My opinion… It needs some work/ updates. The location is great, the place is spacious. But the musty, moldy odor made it impossible to enjoy a good night sleep.
