Our stay was wonderful. We got exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean and staff were great. Highly recommend. Was a bit surprised it was a shared bathroom - I somehow didn’t realize that but it was no problem.

The staff at Casa Happy Life are extremely helpful. The shared bathrooms are cleaned repeatedly in the morning. The free breakfast was delightful. We had a great experience in San Juan del Sur thanks to the staff at Casa Happy Life.

Casa Happy Life is a good hostel with very helpful and pleasant owners. The main thing that lets it down compared with other similar hostels is that it only has one toilet/shower for three rooms with upto 10 people. At many times on our first day, the bathroom was always occupied. We did have two power cuts and ran out of gas too during our two night stay so not great in that respect either.

The AC is noisy and it was hard to get good sleep, we had to turned it off and on from time to time, when we used the fan was also noisy. Breakfast was not good, I understand is a basic Nica breakfast but there was no cheese and the bread was not fresh. It is ok as a last minute booking but definitely not my first option again. The people was nice but the place needs maintenance in general.
