Nice hotel in a good spot in Barrio Escalante. It was nice to have our own apartment with a kitchen. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. I could tell that booking through Expedia was an extra hurdle for them, because we didn't get standard messages like our room door code or the wifi details, those appeared to be arranged some other way which was not known to me. It's well worth the money, but maybe book on a different platform.

BEE Suites is located in a generally nice area of San Jose with lots of dining and bar options within walking distance. The area right around the Suites is somewhat of an eye sore. The room is nice and just like photos on Expedia and Google. They don’t perform daily cleaning of the rooms so you will have to request new towels, toilet paper, etc. You can easily get in touch with BEE Suites via WhatsApp, and they will initiate communication with you periodically. The rooftop jacuzzi was awesome and also has a relax area close by along with gym equipment.
