Our stay at this beautiful resort started well before our stay. Cindy reached out to confirm our time of arrival, provide directions and caution us on the local roads due to a rain storm that had just passed through. If that wasn’t enough, Cindy then messaged us back to confirm our lodging, advised us how to access the resort and get our selection for the next morning’s breakfast.
All this occurred during our drive from Liberia to the Serenity Eco Lodge. Way above and beyond.
Our accommodation was a mountain view unit. Very minimalist but welcoming. Less clutter is something I enjoyed. Wonderful and comfortable bed, nice sample from a local coffee company beside the coffee maker. Bathroom was very clean and very roomy.
Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the property in its entirety due to illness. Again, Cindy stepped up to drive my wife into town to purchase some supplies. That evening, I wasn’t able to leave my room, a bowl of warm soup arrived.
The next morning, it was time for us to leave. But not until we had enjoyed a delicious breakfast to send us on our way.
Our visit to the Serenity Eco Lodge felt more like a visit to a friend than just another resort.
I am looking forward to planning my next trip to Costa Rica and will definitely be planning a stay at the property and catching up with an old friend.
Thank you Cindy for your kindness, understanding and support during our stay.
