Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous. My partner and I really loved the tub. The shower was very nice, good water pressure and never ran out of hot water filling the giant tub and taking hot showers. It was a very unique property which was beautiful to walk around and interact with the dogs and other animals on the property.

Romiro was great helping us out with a walkthrough of the property. Amazing location, great views from the room and from the lush green lawns next to the reception. Jacuzzi was great add on with great views.

Wow what a fun stay. So many unique accommodations! We stayed in the chalet and the in room jacuzzi was marvelous! Beautiful picture windows over looking the garden and the valley below. The king size bed was very comfortable. The chalet was darling inside. Don't let the photo on the website fool you. Outside the chalet looks a bit worn down, but inside has such unique building materials. There is a mini fridge in the room, and reception has a microwave you can use. There are electric fire stoves to keep you warm. Staff were helpful and friendly, even making our ticket reservations for the volcano. It is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Poas Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall garden. The Volcano was 10 mins away and the waterfalls about 20 mins. Hopefully you like animals, because they have a big while fluffy dog (Coco), a few cats and a donkey!! Free tico breakfast every morning with eggs, gallo pinto, plantains, cheese, bread, fruit and the best coffee!! Speaking of breakfast and the donkey....it shows up at the breakfast dome at 730am looking for handouts. Its braying will be your wake up call! ha ha ha

We stayed in a shipping container! It wasn't a real room. It was cold. They provided us with 2 noisy space heaters that didn't heat enough. Sheets and blankets felt itchy. We couldn't sleep much. Staff was nice. Location and view were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I don't recommend to stay there if you are hoping for a nice comfortable stay.
