So, this is probably true for most hotels in Cabo, and not really a Westin issue, but the quality of what you get for your money just isn’t there. This hotel was perfectly adequate. I don’t know how else to describe it. The rooms were spacious, although not super new, at Baja Point. I was told constantly that I was upgraded to an oceanfront room. Yes, it’s beautiful. If you want an Instagrammable vacation, this place will do the trick.
Like most hotels in Cabo, they offer a pool, but there is no swimmable beach. The hotel is going under a lot of construction, which, to be fair, they did disclose to me. The service is fine. The restaurant at Baja Point is extremely overpriced and has fairly mediocre food. The cantina downstairs at the bigger Westin is much better.
Again, everything is adequate, but that’s all one can really say for this place.
