This was a magical, beautiful, hospitable and authentic stay! Darlingly decorated, beautiful grounds! Don’t miss sunset!! Chicken’s and birds an all kinds of plant life - wow!!
Staying here was a lovely experience.
The owner Dominic is friendly and engaging. The property is scenic. Loved the breakfast! I wish we had a few more days here.
Do note accommodations are very basic.
We had an absolutely amazing stay. Dominic and his family are welcoming, informative, and gracious. The land around the lodge is stunning, with views of Xunantunich in the distance. Iguanas, toucans, green parrots, and frogs are all living on the property. The breakfasts every morning are authentic Belizean, and delicious! The rooms are clean, and comfortable.

This place is beautiful, peaceful and the staff welcoming and helpful.
The food is good, great coffee and breakfast.
Dominic the owner and his staff were amazing. We arrived way early and they went above and beyond to get our room ready. Having breakfast included was very nice and the option to have dinner at a reasonable price was even better. Getting to St. Ignacio was a breeze, with conectivos going by just across the main road. Having easy access to the river was fantastic
A couple of doors up there is a horse stables and they have spectacular horseback riding excursions. This was a nice getaway from the city and to enjoy the peace and serenity of the town.
Dominic is a wonderful, friendly host. Nabitunich a great rate for a tranquil place to stay. We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room since there was a cancellation, so we truly appreciate that! Being able to eat dinner on site and the home cooked breakfasts are plus as well.
We loved the beauty. The staff and food were incredible. Great location (although hard to find in the dark since the highway had construction). This place is wonderful
Clean rooms, perfect host. Dominic welcomed us warmly and cooked for us in the evening. We had good conversations and felt very comfortable. If it weren't so far, we would come back. The environment is a dream. We were able to get good insights. We were able to learn a lot about the Mayas. We looked directly at the Maya ruins from the accommodation. The farm is even better in reality than in the photos on the Internet.
A hidden, unique location complete with knowledgeable, personable, engaging host. Hot breakfast with local ingredients, meaningful conversations, cozy commons area. Arrived during a hot spell, but fans made it bearable. all in all a recommended base to explore western belize!
Very cool setting. Nice and quite just like we like it. Walked down through the pastures and some jungle trails to the river. Breakfasts and dinners were awesome. Great deal to purchase dinners. Dominic is a great cook and excellent host. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a base camp for exploring the area.
a rustic living style that is comfortable and in the heart of nature. dominic is one of the best hosts i have ever met and i'd definitely stay here again if i was ever back in san ignacio
Beautiful place and we loved our stay here. The owner, Dom, was incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgable. You will love staying at Nabitunich if you are looking for something a little off the beaten path. This is bed and breakfast on a generationally owned family farm - dinner is also served in the evenings. We rented a car when we stayed here but other people staying at the same time did not and were able to get cabs (or hike!) into San Jose Succotz and the surrounding area.
Once you got to the site, Nabitunich is a perfect setting and place to spend time. The long road getting in is very rough. The communal area is great for meeting other guests. Dominic is the perfect host. Very attentive to your needs. The food on the site is good.
Had the most pleasant stay! Scenic views, mystic ambience of the Mayan pyramids in the distance, peace and tranquility all around. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Dominic is an awesome host who is very attractive and considerate. Highly recommend
The property is a wonderful taste of an old working farm. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly. You can walk to the river and Xunantunich. We enjoyed the sounds of the jungle, the amazing sunsets, delicious breakfast and Dominic’s friendliness and knowledge of the area tremendously. We look forward to returning.
