This resort was beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. The A/C can be a bit light especially on a hot day but if you embrace the vacation vibes and all Cahal Pech has to offer, you’ll enjoy it!

I have been coming back to Cahal Pech resort for every year and seen this place worn down by time… Very sad. Bernadette in the front desk is very helpful. All staff are friendly. The view keeps me staying, but other amenities are very old and everything is overpriced. Lots of bugs in my room.

Our stay was perfect as a morning launching pad and evening landing pad for our San Ignacio adventures. The staff were very kind and friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hammock on the deck of our cabana was highly utilized at the end of our long days. The hotel was a short walk from the town of San Ignacio where we were able to get delicious food from vendors, and right next door to Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve.

Everything was wonderful. Clean basic rooms. Staff and all tour guides were extremely helpful and friendly. Food was great. The only thing I wished we had was like a mini cooler or fridge or something in the room for storage. Outside of that, awesome.

Our whole time here was fantastic. Having them organize our transportation and tours was such a huge benefit. The property is lovely, especially the cabin we stayed in. The view across the valley is stunning. We especially loved the hammock in the screened in porch. Very relaxing!

Awesome resort at the top of the hill overlooking San Ignacio. Beautiful view of the town and the sunset/sunrise with a pleasant breeze. Walking distance to Cahal Pech Maya ruins. Friendly staff with a great restaurant and bar. I will definitely be staying here again when I travel to Belize.

A beautiful location with stunning views from the cabanas. The food and drinks at the on-site restaurant and coffee shop were very good and fairly priced. A real bonus is having your own terrace in front of the cabana with a hammock which is protected by a fly net. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking available. We would have liked a fridge and safe in the room but otherwise loved our stay here.

Clean room with great water pressure. The cabana that we got does not bring a fridge, microwave, coffee maker or iron. Friendly staff. Clean grounds and pool. The only thing that threw me off a little is that I was 100% certain I forgot my 6ft phone charger in the room, but when I asked them to mail it to me they said that housekeeping had checked and nothing was left behind. Again, I am 100% certain I left it there. That was a little disappointing. This was not a cheapy charger, unless I would have just called it a loss but it was a super fast charger that I also use for my laptop. Lesson learned, don't leave ANYTHING behind.

Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch.
