Loved the hotel, like I’m sure most know it is in the tenderloin so the surrounding area is definitely a little sus, but the hotel itself and the corner it is on was more than good for me, never felt unsafe. The room was great & the hotel itself is well kept & very nice inside. There is both valet & nearby parking options for convenience.

The hotel was clean, classy, convenient and a wonderful experience. Being in the tenderloin district it was in one of the roughest parts of San Francisco. Unhoused people, severe drug use and open intoxication makes it very risky but we were able to get through it without having any incidents. I would be really cautious and aware of where you are staying location wise. The hotel was great on the inside.

Love the this hotel. Stayed here twice now. The rooms are fantastic as is the rooftop bar and restaurant. Location is just on the fringe of being a bit sketchy but security is great and I’ve never felt unsafe.

We celebrated our 4th Year Wedding Anniversary at Timbri and it was pretty nice. We were in the Skyline Superior King and the room was very clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The café downstairs was really convenient for our morning coffee. We ate at the restaurant one evening, due to us not making reservations we ended up eating in a corner, away from the beautiful view. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food and the service. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore San Francisco California.

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The linens and pillows were divine, the room and lobby stylish, and the staff were always so friendly and kind. The whole hotel smelled so good and was spotless. The coffee from the little coffee shop on the first floor was pretty good! Appreciated the shuttle to the convention center (was here for a work conference). Would highly recommend and would stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay at Timbri. The hotel itself is great, the room was spacious, very clean, and perfect for my stay. The staff was also amazing and very welcoming. The biggest con for me was the location. This was my first time visiting San Francisco, and the area has a noticeable homeless population and drug activity. Both of my Uber drivers mentioned how bad the area was, which definitely made me more aware of my surroundings. The good thing is that the hotel does have outside security and police presence, which made me feel a little more comfortable. Another downside is the limited breakfast options. There isn’t a wide variety available, and the main option is a café. I believe breakfast is served on the weekends, but I would have liked to see more breakfast options throughout the week. Overall, despite the location, I really liked Timbri. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was great. I would recommend the hotel for the quality of the stay, but I would definitely keep the location in mind when booking. This was also a last minute booking for me so it came in handy in terms of quick accommodating.

The security guards were probably my favorite part of my stay. They were so informative and friendly, as a solo traveler, I was to relieved to get the confidence from their assistance to go explore around the area. Very beautiful hotel, all the workers are so nice. Worth the price imo.

Great stay overall. The hotel has a stylish, modern feel and everything was very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and quiet with an excellent bed, and the location is perfect for the theater district and exploring downtown San Francisco. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The rooftop bar and restaurant is a nice bonus with a fun atmosphere and great city views.
