The hotel itself is very comfortable and has a nice lobby area but the area around it has an issue with homeless people hanging around- a couple of times, we saw homeless men drop their pants around their ankles to pee onto walls! 😖 The hotel can't help what happens in the surrounding area but I doubt I'll be making another reservation here or nearby, based upon my experience.

Recently stayed at the Pineapple, and it was ok. The hotel and rooms are very clean and look new. Rooms are nice but small and it is a little noisy. They are pet friendly which is good for some. There is a bar in the lobby but it isn’t staffed during the week. Also no breakfast or food available. They do have a pot of coffee. This is a nice boutique hotel with new additional amenities.

Pros: Bed, pillows and bedding are super comfortable! Lobby is beautiful and stylish Cons: Not very business friendly- Iron doesn't work, second iron still didn't work They don't offer I laundry or pressing Phone in room doesn't work to call downstairs Elevator extremely slow Shower water is warm not hot Room very small Area is surrounded by homeless, doesn't feel unsafe but certainly sketchy walking even 1 block

The people are amazing, the property is clean and it has an old timey feel to it that makes us come back. Love the animal friendly atmosphere too.
