Let us get 2 rooms last minute. Staff was super helpful and kind. I will say the rooms on the street side were very noisy due to chinatown traffic, lots of honking and yelling in middle of night bit other than that it was a nice stay.

Everything worked and the location was pretty good. Other than that, wasn’t the cleanest and kind of poorly maintained for the age of the building. I would say worth the price though and it worked pretty good for our trip considering we only used it to sleep.

It was a good location. Staff was okay nothing exceptional but were kind and responsive. Room was what’s you expect from a historic hotel. Bedding was clean and room smelled nice. Only issue was some hair in the bathroom walls. Overall worth it for the price.

The SF Plaza Hotel is an excellent and wonderful place to stay. With every five star luxury and amenity one would expect to find. Ahh, if the walls could talk, the tales of a bygone age they would tell. The Plaza really is a very nice place to stay. I will miss it. It felt like home.

The Expedia listing for this property does not align with the actual amenities: there is no breakfast provided (staff said the Expedia listing was old and out of date) and the “queen” was actually a full size bed (staff said that was the “same size as all of the beds” listed as queen). The location was great and easy to access. The room was clean. The elevator went out on the last day we were there but the staff were really friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage to help offset the inconvenience. That was really kind. Overall a good stay.

I traveled from Austin Tx for business, at first glance I was hesitant. But it actually turned out to be the most relaxing place. Hotel staff very friendly no need to worry about homeless hanging around the entrance. Over all I definitely enjoyed my stay of 5 days. Highly recommend for single, business trips or a friends outing. Thank you for a wonderful trip P.s never judge a book by its cover

Friendly staff. Couldn’t help much with the slow internet, I wish they could take that more serious. I also wish they would stop advertising free breakfast since they have not served breakfast there since before COVID. They misled or miscommunicated that it is bc the breakfast room is being renovated but my source is reliable. That being said, for the price, it was still worth it!

Okay so this was one of the inexpensive options and it was phenomenal for what it was, the location was immaculate it’s actually right next to SF’s Chinatown and Union Square. Now the hotel’s cleanliness is up for question it was hairs all over the bathroom (that were not mines) but it could have been a custodians hair, the overall cleanliness did make me skeptical but I survived lol. It really is what you pay for but it was decent :)

The room ia good enough for solo traveler for a short vacation. Eduardo is very accommodating during the checked-in. I just hope that the hotel management would be more considerate to accommodate for an early check-in especially for traveler that arrived early from a long trip. The room was inexpensive, clean and roomy enough so it served it's purpose. It's an old hotel, probably historic. There's an actual key to the door, which is probably unusual for a hotel nowadays. It's located in a convenient and safe location. With restarants and some shops nearby. And the staff was nice and helpful. But the tv was small and my bed was pretty hard. There's no fridge or microwave. So if you're not looking for a luxurious experience, it's fine. Sorry, the only picture I took was of the view out of the window.
