The room was so spacious! It had a huge closet. The room was clean. The city view was beautiful. The breakfast was solid and kept us pretty full. The location was great and had a little convenience store right next to it. Definitely a great deal for what we got. Loved this hotel!

Our stay at Mayflower hotel was a charm. Everything was exactly as expected, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and ideally located right in the city centre, making it easy to get around and explore. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always happy to help. Overall, a great experience and a place I would happily recommend.

What a gem of a hotel to enjoy. Great location adjacent to Union Square and transportation lines. Hotel has great charm and maintains its old world charm. Rooms are very tastefully appointed, each room with its own style. I was in the Heart suite, complete with a beautiful mural of a vibrant heart done in oils. Bed very comfortable and all appointments in very good condition. Great shower too! I HIGHLY recommend this gem!!

Front desk staff were helpful in answering all of our questions. The market next door was very convenient. No air conditioner, but really wasn't needed as we opened the windows and used the ceiling fan. Old historic charm within walking distance to restaurants, and shopping. About 2 blocks from the cable car stop.and Union Square. Expect to see a few homeless people nearby.

Great reception staff, very helpful. Hotel ideally located for Union Square and central San Francisco. Rooms, although basic, were great value for money. Breakfast was basic but included in price as a bonus. The only negative would be no safety deposit boxes in room or reception.

Hotel was beautiful. Wonderful space on 2nd floor to hang out and people watch. Antique elevator was fun. Room/hotel was clean. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very good.
