The staff very welcoming! The place is clean and tidy, just dated but to be expected with a place that's been there for so long. It had everything we needed for our stay with our 2 young children. It's a awesome little vibe with beautiful flowers growing all around, we stayed in one of rooms further back from Lombard street, we felt safe and it was quiet. Great location to explore San Francisco- we'd definitely stay again

Location was great. Lots of restaurants within a three blocks walk. The motel is charming. The first motel on Lombard built in 1939. Clean. It has the charm of an era past with current amenities. And they supply individual garages for traveler’s vehicles. Secure and safe. The employees are friendly. I didn’t see any pets but me if the staff told me they were accepted. Price didn’t break the bank. I will stay there again.

The property and the courtyard were beautiful and so well maintained. The rooms were quaint and clean with an at-home feel. The pillows and bed were super comfortable. Hearing the birds in the morning by the window planters was such a treat. The office staff were so wonderful and knew so many local spots with all the insider advice. Would definitely stay here again. This motel made our visit to San Francisco so enjoyable. The convenience of being right by bus stops with direct routes to Ghirardelli Square and the Wharf was an added bonus ! If you have the opportunity, stay here and enjoy your visit to San Francisco ❤️
