Nice, small, family run motel. I've stayed twice in king rooms. The rooms are quite small but comfortable and clean enough for an overnight night place to sleep. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water and nice pressure in the shower Small fridge and small microwave. Short 5 min walk to great dining options. And a couple of nice looking places right behind that I haven't tried yet. The price is often right and I would stay again.

Immediate surroundings are nothing to talk about, but it just a few minute drive over to a very cute part of San Carlos with good restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is cute and clean. I would come back.
