You are in a fantastic location. Steps from Chinatown and short distance from North Beach. Saves you time because getting places is easy. I'd recommend this is a place if you are ok with small rooms and the showers in the hallway. My room didn't have a lamp, just an overhead light. I would say if you are looking for bare bones, great location, clean bed this would be your place.

Good location for public transit, plenty of parking garages nearby. Room was a bit small and dusty in some spots. Stairs are very steep between floors but there is an elevator.

The stay was great, the staff was excellent, however upon checking in we discovered a huge cockroach in our room! My wife is HIGHLY allergic to cockroachs so it definitely put a damper on our first night. Luckily the staff handled the issue in an acceptable time frame and we ended up having an ok time.

The whole aesthetic and idea behind the hotel is awesome, and very affordable which I think is a big deal. The art is super cool and at least in my room had humorous undertones. My only issue is the walls are super thin and not at all soundproof and the beds are poor quality.

The rooms were extremely hot. There was only one shareable bathroom for everyone on the floor I was in, and it was in bad condition. The elevator didn’t work all the time. Place was very unclean. The only part of that hotel that was good was the bar. I will never stay there again. I not recommend anyone body do either.

At first, this seemed like the perfect hotel. Convenient and a good price. However, our room did not look anything like the picture; the shared bathroom was extremely small, there was no lock on the door, there was a random door in our room, the sheets were dirty, and the walls were paper-thin. First night was fine, and then we had horrible neighbors who took our balcony to themselves AND were noisy ALL night long...Not to mention, we asked for "late" checkout (which was an hour later) and it was confirmed, then our key to the room disappeared from the app, and we got a freaky call from the administration telling us to remove our bags...how were we supposed to do that if we couldn't get in the room? It was just too many little things that added up. Spend a bit more and stay at a better place.

This hotel really ia dedicates to the art. Diverse original art makes every room different. Good location. Good price. My first stay at a no-front-desk hotel. It worked pretty well and help was available by phone. Poor choices on the TV.

Considering the cost/night, it’s not that worthy. Room was quite small with average cleaning and the shared bathroom not always clean. We paid 423€ for three nights - definitely not worthing cost-benefit. Positive note, customer service team was very nice and always available for support.

I had a very disappointing stay. The hotel did not feel secure at all, the hallways and room were dirty, and the constant smell of weed made it uncomfortable. This is not the experience I expected.

This spot is a total vibe! Best place for our first trip to San Fran. The check in & out process was so easy. We were on the 5th floor in a corner room. LOVED having the experience of the fire escape. The room was clean & ended up having a mini fridge. When texting the front desk for things, they replied immediately. The elevator was so cool! The bathtub was amazing! My only issues were - 1. the tv remote did not work. Probably needed new batteries, but we didnt try to watch TV until out last night so it was not a big deal 2. The bathroom sink, although I love "old" sytle, upgrading to a single handle with mixing valve so you can have warm water, not just hot or cold We loved out stay! Would stay here again.
