I felt very safe in the neighborhood and appreciated the gated parking and hotel area. The manager was very friendly and helpful and even gave me a bottle of wine at arrival. The room was comfortable and it was nice to not have to worry about breakfast! Definitely recommend it over more well known brand hotels in the less clean and safe downtown area.

This is a great little place. It is an older hotel, but it is very clean and well-maintained. The staff members were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I really wish I could remember the name of the girl working the front desk in the afternoons during our stay (July 28–30, 2026). She was absolutely amazing.

I wish they included pictures of the “family suite” on the website. The two twin beds are really just a twin bed with a trundle bed which might be fine for younger kids but I have two older kids who did not want to sleep that close to each other. Also the floor felt unsafe and soft in spots. The staff (who were super kind and helpful!) moved us to a double room which, even though it didn’t solve the bed issue for the kids, was a much more comfortable option. The breakfast in the lobby was fantastic and they made parking easy.

Hotel del sol is a sweet little oasis- a respite from the chaos of the city! The staff were super friendly and helpful and set the tone for a relaxing atmosphere. I loved spending my mornings poolside, slowly savoring the delicious coffee and pastries they provided. The area is really walkable, but I enjoyed taking advantage of their free bike rentals to cruise around the local green spaces.

This is a great find in the Marina district. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beds were comfortable, but there was no mini fridge. Safe gated parking. I would definitely stay here again.
