A wood-burning fireplace in the room is an incredible perk. The staff was lovely and super helpful, finding a computer mouse for me to borrow for my stay. Lovely walk to the ocean cliff just behind the property. Beautiful place to stay.

We had a nice clean room, and the staff was readily available to answer questions and be helpful. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and it was a nice weekend. I was pleasantly surprised as the breakfast was very good- including hot sausages, scrambled eggs, waffles- not the “continental breakfast” which typically means Danishes, bagels, and coffee. My only complaint would be that the Keurig machine did not work in our room. It also would’ve been nice if there was a microwave oven. The location was close to beaches and town. Also next door is Half Moon Bay Joe’s which is connected to the Original Joe’s in Westlake, one of my favorite restaurants. That was a little bonus.

Location is fantastic. Unfortunately we showed up on the hottest month of the year and the facilities have no air conditioning so we were quite warm during our visit. Place is a little dated, has a lovely ambiance but is definably a bit worn on the edges. Would love to recommend if it wasn't so expensive as a great weekend getaway or a lovely place to stop on a long road trip. budget but quaint. definitely not glamorous and has a lot of character to the location. The hot tub/jacuzzi and the pool are in lovely area that is near the breakfast dining hall. Great location to hang out with the kids to play a board game on vacation or to have some family chats. They provide hot water, tea bags and cold water in the breakfast area so there is a beverage to be had at all times.

Needs a bit of updating, screen door popped off asap but I had tools and reset the rollers, extra pillows did not get delivered and had to call again, loan bikes for 3-4 hours before charging. Hot tub was out of service which was the reason we selected this resort after being in chilly weather for 3 days, disappointing. Positeves: Room was clean, bed was nice, breakfast being continental was good and eggs tasted like real eggs. Easy check out and plenty of activities for kids.
