The hotel and our room were very clean and well maintained. The room was basic, even a bit larger than I had anticipated. The window opened which I loved to get some fresh air. We ended up loving the Wharf area, and this hotel was about a 30 minute walk there, or there is a bus stop right outside that will bring you there. Overall, we loved our time here.

Hotel room as fine. Hotel had signs posted prohibiting bicycles in room, staff strongly recommended removing all valuables from vehicles, and staff recommended bikes be stored at an nonsecure bike rack. This is a deal breaker for people traveling with a bike.

Good sized rooms. Excellent location. Muni stop and Big Bus tour stops directly in front of the hotel. Many restaurants, corner stores, bars, and clubs nearby. Easy access to nearly any part of the city. Provided toiletries. Hot water for long showers never ran out. Housekeeping services upon request. Even though it is an active hub of the city, it was relatively quiet and none of us had trouble sleeeping. Could see a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge from our window. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

I stayed during the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the location was perfect. Trek bike shop near by, food not far away and close to race start. The staff were great, rooms were big and bus stop out the front. It really was the best spot for this race. The bath was good post race as well. Overall highly recommend!

WOW! I absolutely lucked out for only $116 night for a Sunday, which is a big bargain for San Francisco. I had low expectations for that low price, especially for San Francisco, but the room was absolutely wonderful! This hotel is on busy noisy Lombard street, but I was placed in Room 102, facing away, and it was really quiet all night! Best of all? FREE PARKING! That is really hard to find in SF! PROs: -Clean, modern, spacious and elegant classy room, felt European chic! -Bathroom felt more dated, but was still clean and pleasant. -FREE PARKING -Coffee Machine -Medium sized LCD TV -Air conditioning -FREE PARKING -Safe neighborhood with dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and eateries in walking distance and all are real local joints. -FREE PARKING, including a secure underground lot if you'd like. CONs: -No fridge, but ice machines worked well. -Rooms facing Lombard might be louder I will definitely try to stay here again for future San Francisco trips.

We were in a room on Fillmore street across from a beer garden. To no fault of the hotel, we had a lot of noise that made it hard to sleep until after the bar closed each night. That being said, the room was perfect, the car was safe, we had an incredible stay. Next time I’ll bring earplugs and will stay here again and again. Thank you all!
