Have been staying at Beresford Arms for >> 20 years when in town for a Trade Show. Love the old world detail and design and ambiance of the property. Their complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The only 'issue' I have with the Beresford Arms is their TV and channel availability, not to mention picture quality. Have a selection of 15-20 channels and the picture quality, resolution etc is NOT great.

Loved every bit of our stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind. Our beds were comfortable and our room was sparkling clean. There is some noise from the streets around the building- but this is to be expected in a large city and a building built in 1910. The location is perfect for exploring SF. We walked to the wharf in about 35 minutes - which also takes you on some of the best street views of the city. I never felt unsafe once and the hotel location had very few homeless nearby. An Uber home back from downtown was approx $19. Absolutely would stay again!

This hotel is a lovely hotel. Whilst dated, the staff were really nice and the extra touches on offer were appreciated. The room was very clean and comfortable. However, the noise outside our room was unbearable and similar to attending a DJ set at 2am. Whilst the area is busy with traffic, the loud dogs, ladies screaming at Mr DJ and the constant Fire Engines passing made it a really disrupted night. If you had a room at the back of the hotel, perhaps it wouldn’t be as bad. Shame as it’s obvious how much effort the team go into making this hotel special.

This property has a functional kitchen, although the cooking utensils are somewhat limited. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. It can be a little noisy in the evening, but the area becomes quiet after 10:00 p.m. The hotel offers a simple breakfast, along with a complimentary wine or tea tasting in the late afternoon, which is a thoughtful and welcoming touch for guests. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Everything was great! Such a cute boutique hotel with food right across the street that was amazing. Just expect the usual hit for parking in San Francisco. There's also a wait for the valet. Since we were in a hurry we just walked the two blocks to get it as there was a half hour wait.
