Loved the area for concerts at GG park with the family. It was definitely not quiet, but we expected that and planned accordingly. Super kind folks at the bar below. Staff at the hotel was pleasant and did their job without intrusion on guests - they noticed our coffee choices and made sure to replace the kind we used only. You need to ask for amenities like coffee sugar packets/creamer, etc, but they have them.

Does the job

It’s a bare-bones tourist motel but had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t need. Room was sparse and weirdly shaped but large and well-maintained. You can tell it’s an older building but the ownership has put time and effort into there interiors. Staff was friendly and helpful. The two cons were that parking was limited and the evenings were loud with the metro right nearby, but in my mind that goes with the territory given the older construction and the excellent location.

Stayed for 3 nights to attend nearby Outside Lands festival. Room was dated but clean. Unfortunately, we never received cleaning service or fresh bath towels during our entire stay. Could not open windows for fresh air so had to leave front door open for air. The positive? Our 18 years old son said we were just being bougey and that he will try to stay here for the 2026 festival because of its convenient proximity to the event

i had seen another review about the noise and yeah this time i heard it alot more the little bar under the hotel gets cracking lol but still not a problem played some white noise on the tv and slept pretty great. room is super clean, parking this time was a bit of a issue but the front desk took care of it. 10/10 will continue to stay here.

For the price, it is not bad at all. The room was massive and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Hot water and good water pressure. Lots of free parking for guests. Only downside was the cable car was very loud and ran all day and night, so if you’re sensitive to sound probably not the place for you. Also the room we stayed in, the window had no screen so it do is just open and be a safety hazard.

This was a delightful find for me as one who loves to explore the city, mostly needs just a place to sleep and seeks modest room rates. The place has a work-in-progress feel, especially from the outside, but offers so much. In specific the room was clean and spacious and everything worked. The folks there had a very helpful website that acquaints you with dining and other neighborhood offerings, of which there are many. I wanted to explore GG Park and the beach and they were right there. In addition the muni train is right in front and will take you right down to the Embarcadero for a couple dollars. The one bit I highly advise is bringing a sleep noise machine because the trolley bells are right in front and there's a pub nearby.

Near the beach and Golden Gate Park. Very much a meh motel though. Super expensive for what it is but we went for an event so it was pretty much the only place available that night. Fine overall just don't expect much

Overall, it was decent enough for one overnight stay. The room was large enough, which was nice, and it's right by the ocean with that lovely salty air smell. But the TV only had Roku, the refrigerator had no cord and thus was no good, and the shower drain was clogged.

A big room with a view of the Pacific, One thing: the shower barely got warm enough to feel comfortable. I like a bit more margin. Funny, but the sink water was fine. But I've stayed here before and would again. Small groceries and a 7/11 close.

I liked the location of the property. The staff is absolutely amazing and helpful. They are accommodating. Unfortunately there were some issues with our room. There were bugs squished to the wall, there was no AC unit which i guess being in san fran you don't need usually. I would have liked it, opening the windows was pointless because there were people smoking out front and my children could smell it. I do appreciate everything with the property. they did their best i believe. I feel like i paid too much for the quality i received though.

GOOD CHOICE!

Overall it was a great stay! If you are a light dreamer, expect some noise from the busses outside, also you need to go up stairs… keep it in mind. If that doesn’t matter THEN GOOD NEWS! It’s a great choice!! Clean rooms and the conditions were good. Cons in my experience was that I took a while to check-out. I was ringing around 7am and nobody responded I about 10min so I took a walk and returned 15mins prior my check-out time limit and almost repeated my first try but luckily the staff started talking to somebody behind the motel and told them that I was checking out. They took my key and said that I was good to go. Kinda boomer, hope it doesn’t happen or happened to anyone else… Also for they safety I think they scanned my ID so don’t worry!
