Great hotel hacienda

Great hotel, excellent service and excellent food. I really enjoyed my stay. It was property of Vicente Fox ( Mexico's ex-president) so there's a lot of history on this site.

Beautiful spot BUT...

We booked a specific room and they gave us a different room. This room smells so bad. Humidity and smell of spout. Extremely noisy room also. The place is beautiful. I have to say that thank you to JOEL we will return again. This employee was extremely kind and respectful. He apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a tour to the whole property.

Nuestra estancia en Hacienda San Cristóbal fue muy linda y agradable. La hacienda es preciosa, está muy bien cuidada y además es un lugar lleno de historia, lo que hace todavía más interesante conocerla y recorrerla. Algo que definitivamente quiero destacar es la atención del personal. Todo el staff fue muy amable, atento y servicial; prácticamente todas las personas con las que nos cruzamos durante nuestra estancia tuvieron una excelente actitud y siempre estuvieron dispuestas a ayudar. Disfrutamos muchísimo el restaurante. Tienen un muy buen menú, excelentes bebidas y recibimos muy buena atención. La alberca también nos gustó mucho y la temperatura del agua estuvo perfecta. 👌 Otro punto que me encantó es que se hayan actualizado y ahora sean **pet friendly**. Para quienes viajamos con nuestras mascotas, que un lugar como este las reciba es un gran plus y definitivamente hace que tengamos ganas de regresar. 🐾 Como retroalimentación constructiva, y desde la perspectiva de alguien que viaja con mucha frecuencia podrían hacer la experiencia todavía mejor. El principal sería realizar fumigaciones con mayor frecuencia. Entiendo perfectamente que es una hacienda, con jardines y muchos espacios abiertos, pero durante nuestra estancia había demasiados mosquitos. He visitado otras haciendas con características similares donde este tema se siente mucho más controlado. Nos llevamos una muy buena impresión y definitivamente es un lugar que vale la pena conocer
