Parking was close and very safe. The view from our room was amazing - looked out on the ocean and the palapa with chairs where we sat and had a drink. The room was clean and just fine.
This is the view of the sunrise from the window of our room at Stella del Mar - incredible!

Great location. We walked right out into the sand. The beach was picturesque and had picnic tables, chairs and palapas. We were able to walk into town on the beach as well as the street. About a 10 min walk. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable . We will absolutely stay here again

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Staff & service
The only positive about this hotel that the rooms are literally on the beach with full ocean view (at least from the first row of rooms). A couple launching chairs, umbrella and table were provided with the room. Other than that, staff is not multilingual (as advertised), there are no tissue papers or lotion/conditioner in the rooms (4-star hotel according to their rating, 3.5 according to Expedia). There are no showers or even stations to wash your feet after coming from the sand. The beach and water would be great but unfortunately too contaminated with trash (both the water and sand). Be prepared to pay US prices, or even higher) at the hotel restaurant or any other restaurant at the center for very average food.

No pets allowed in room, but pets allowed in restaurant… odd Unique location , right on the beach. Yet San Felipe as destination is not worth staying more than one night.
