The Pleasant Inn is exactly that...."pleasant". It is an older hotel that has undergone renovations in the bedroom and bathroom. The price and location are fine. Staff are welcoming and organized.

The lobby was clean and cool. The staff : Tu was very friendly and efficient, check in was easy. The room was clean the bed was soft and the bathroom was clean too.

Property is right off the 805 freeway which was convenient. Ubers were always close by to the area as well if planning on using them. Room was a bit outdated but still cozy, bathrooms do need a remodel since it felt like shower & toilet were gonna fall apart. Would stay again if price were to be lower than $80/night.

Our room was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable and supportive. The staff were great. Parking was easy. We stayed on the back side and it was extremely quiet. The air conditioner worked just fine. The only negative thing that comes to mind was the small tv.

Hotel is a basic hotel no fancy no real amenities, But the price reflects it as well. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. when I stayed the hotel was 30-40% full so parking was good but I could see it being hard when full, also the spots are small and a full size truck and suv would struggle but that is really a california thing too. i recommend this for the traveler who needs a place to sleep it is clean comfortable and economical, if you spend your trip in the hotel find a different one. I will stay here again on my next trip to San Diego.
