Hotel staff was great. LandShark food and service was great. Our room was cute but was a little worn down, it was clean, but it was not serviced while we were gone all day (leaving trash full and no towels). The pool deck was dirty, trash cans were full and the water was murky.

The pool is small and we were shutout from most of the pool/bar area for a few days because of a convention in town but the hotel is clean and the staff are great. It's in an area with fantastic dining options and right next to Petco Park and the Convention Center. I would definitely go back again.

Nice, modern hotel. Huge lobby with a lot of seating. The open restaurant on the main floor is really nice, but the roof top bar and pool is awesome. The pool isn't heated so I didn't go in but fun to hang around there with the massive led screen. Service on the rooftop was hit and miss depending on the bar tender and/or server and depending on the day but not really a big deal. We stayed there almost a week we will be back again.

Very central location in downtown San Diego, diagonal to Petco Park. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. Only issue is that it’s a steep price $70 for valet parking. Being a visitor, we were unfamiliar with the parking rules and any nearby self-parking, so did the valet parking for convenience. Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Pool is very very small and not much room for even a small crowd. Easy to get on the highways too. Close to the San Diego zoo. Definitely would recommend!

The swimming pool had a lot of sunscreen on the surface and I wonder how many drunk patrons pee in it? It must be difficult to keep a rooftop pool clean but …. The music around the 5 o’clock bar should fit the Jimmy Buffet theme - no rap or hip hop ! The valet service was good although space is a bit limited so service can get delayed during busy times. Overall , the hotel was great !
