For a basic hotel room in Point Loma, this hotel was excellent. The rooms were recently remodeled, well equipped, and clean. The staff was very helpful with our late check in.

Sam, and the housekeeping staff were excellent hosts during my stay. This place has a great location close to everything you will need. I will 100% be booking here again. Parking can be tricky, but if you get a spot, you can walk and Uber everywhere, and not have to worry about paying for parking all over the city.

It’s always my go to spot . They almost feel like extended family now … i’ve been in the process of moving down to San Diego over the last few months and been staying at the hotel point Loma why I look for places to live and we’re gonna be moving to point Loma in October but Sam has taken very good care of me very nice people housekeeping daily housekeeping it’s a rare gem. Don’t let the secret out too much though. I enjoy the nice rates.

The staff was friendly upon check-in, and all was great when walking into the room. Renovations seemed to only include redoing the floors, and that's about it, because the shower was very outdated, and I fear the floor in the shower might turn into a hole soon. As soon as I stood on the shower floor to take a shower, it was squishy, which was very unpleasant. I did notify the staff of this and messaged them on Expedia, but I have yet to receive a response. Unfortunately, the room did smell of cigarettes as well, and it seems like cleaner was used to try and hide the smell. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from or if it was just a lingering smell from someone who stayed in the past. I would definitely check new reviews and renovations before staying again.

Property have a convenient location, clean and comfortable room. Electrical receptacles in the walls and table lamps don't hold plugs tight, making problem to use an electronic equipment. Parking are freely accessible for public and actually are street parking spaces.

My room was clean and in good working order. My sheets and towels were very fresh and clean, which is super important to me. The room was all clean and nothing looked shabby. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is an affordable room to sleep in near Point Loma. There's a small parking lot at the hotel that is first come, first served, so if you're coming back late, you may have to park in the street but you have only until 8 am then you have to move. My A/C kept the room nice and cool as well as being a white noise. I didn't notice any loud neighbors or street sounds. Overall I would come back to stay again.

Simple clean room, we had trouble with the shower but the staff helped us figure it out. it was just old and we were scared it would break. It was a nice stay, very close to a lot of different restaurants we could walk or drive to different places. On our check out day we saw a roach on the floor, unfortunately. but thank god we were heading out of the room.
