Nice hotel overall, when we first got in the room it did have a smell to it but I turn on the ac and sprayed some perfume and we were good to go. Kid friendly, we traveled with a 2 & 4 year old they loved it! Breakfast was good and they have a laundry room which I loved since kids did go swimming. Kids loved the pool. Guest service was very good. I would stay here again.

The hotel is difficult to review because it's a new hotel that seemed to be built cheaply. Positives: Housekeeping did a good job cleaning our room. The kids enjoyed the pool. Negatives: Daily parking fee was high considering there's no airport or theme park close by. I'm not sure about the local laws regarding public drug use, but we often saw or smelled people smoking pot in the parking lot. Location wasn't close to any of the San Diego sites.

We had a suite that was excellent. It was nice to have a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator/freezer. This would be excellent for a summer vacation. Close to Sea World and the beach.

This was an AMAZING hotel!! First, the staff was so welcoming and sweet, particularly our friends that do breakfast and afternoon snacks. They were the best! We loved the breakfast, how big and spacious the room was and the amount of parking available. Really loved this area and would stay here again!
