The place is a nice place to stay at in the heart of all the stores and attractions. The breakfast is hot and dependable. The staff is nice and very helpful. If you’re looking for an affordable nice place in the harbor area this is a good choice.

Clean and well equipped rooms with a comfortable bed. Very well located with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Plus it’s close to a nice walk on Shelter Island. I had the corner room and the street noise was fairly loud. The parking lot is extremely tight as others have noted, so it was a challenge to drive through and park in the lot, even with a small sedan.

It was much better than expected. At first I was like hell no I’m not staying here, but the staff was very attentive, the room service was good, breakfast every morning was good. The only thing was the drain in shower seems clogged and took forever to drain so I was standing in a puddle while showering so had to shower quickly so it didn’t overflow into bathroom. Overall, great location, wonderful staff, good price, and bed was comfy too!

Loved our stay at this location. We were a bit worried about it being unsafe (not from the San Diego area), but we soon learned it was very safe and quiet. This is the perfect distance to travel all over the city and close to the airport. Parking is $10 a day and we had no issues. The staff was very kind and helpful, as well. Highly recommend!

Although there’s nothing fancy about this hotel, we would absolutely stay there again. The room was clean and beds incredibly comfortable! Location was great and we used the roof top (2nd floor) patio area to have our coffee (Buzzed Coffee across Rosecrans St) and watch the morning fishing charter’s activities across the street. All in all, a solid 9.5 out of 10

The property and the rooms look absolutely nothing like the photos they advertise. There were gnats in the room and bathroom and the ceiling was obviously falling apart. The breakfast they provide is pretty rough and the pool is filled with bugs and the chairs are covered in spiders and webs. The front desk staff was very kind.
