I had a terrible experience at this Best Western and would not recommend this to anyone.
When we checked in on Memorial Day, I was informed we would be getting a queen room because that's what was booked. I had the reservation booked for over 2 weeks on Expedia and I booked a king room. My husband is very tall, so we always book a King. They were sold out and had the wrong info. Nothing we could do, naturally it was a busy weekend. We accepted the queen. Roomwas clean and comfortable, however, one of the beds was sagging on one side.
This wasn't the major issue.
I was woken up around 6am Sunday by banging and scraping noises upstairs, the doors must be so thin, because I could also hear every noises and chatter in the hallway, could also hear people in the room adjacent to us. I am normally a deep sleeper, but the noise was insane.
I waited a little bit, thinking, okay, maybe the housekeeper is cleaning upstairs and it would stop when they were done with the room. It did not.
Around an hour later, noises had gotten worse, I called the front desk, only to be told that the room they put us in was below the breakfast room, and they try not to put anyone in that room!! My husband and I had some earplugs in our bags and had to use them in order to try to sleep. This goes on until 10, when the breakfast time stops.
Management had no reasons as to why they put people in this room KNOWING it was noisy. Do not stay in #322. Inexcusable. Refund promised, but not delivered. Lies.
