Hotel is very basic and a bit outdated, but great location close to freeway and Balboa park, very clean grounds and room. Staff was friendly, nice pool and hot tub. Plenty of parking and awesome Mediterranean restaurant and korean bbq right across from the hotel. Good value for that price.

Great place for the price point. Clean, easy to get to and close to the beach as long as you drive. The blankets are thin so I would bring my own, and the mattress is a little wonky, but incredibly clean and well maintained. The pool is super nice and I would visit again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Great care has been taken in maintaining many beautiful trees and plants within the courtyards. Security was excellent, and as a single traveler I felt very safe. The room was clean, and for the price amenities were just as expected. The location was an excellent center point for all the places I went to visit. I highly recommend this hotel.
